Who we are

Shooks is an AI social media manager operated at shooks.online. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can delete it. For questions, contact support@shooks.online.

What we collect

• Account data: email, name, profile picture (via sign-in provider).
• Content you create: carousels, captions, brand resources, ghostwriter drafts.
• Connected social accounts: when you connect Instagram or LinkedIn, we store encrypted OAuth access tokens, your public profile (username, display name, avatar), and the IDs required to publish on your behalf. We never receive or store your password.
• Usage data: basic logs (timestamps, error traces) to keep the service running.

How we use it

• Generate carousels and posts you request.
• Publish content to the social accounts you explicitly connect.
• Send you notifications about your posts and account.
• Improve reliability and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models.

Third parties

Shooks uses these subprocessors: Meta (Instagram Graph API), LinkedIn API, our hosting provider, and AI model providers used to generate content. Data is transmitted over TLS.

Retention

Post history is automatically deleted after 3 days. OAuth tokens are kept until you disconnect the account or delete your data. Account records are removed on request.

Your rights & deletion

You can disconnect any social account at any time from Connections, which revokes and deletes the stored tokens. To delete your entire Shooks account and all associated data, follow the steps at Data Deletion or email support@shooks.online.
